terms & conditions.

Draft · September 20, 2026 · Not yet effective

about these terms

These terms cover use of Retriever, a shared inventory service for robotics teams, operated by Rishaan Jain, an individual operator located in California, United States. Support and billing contact: rishaanjain188@gmail.com.

These terms have not been reviewed by a lawyer. They should be before the service takes payments from the public.

accounts and authority

You must be 13 years of age or older to create an account. Creating an account requires confirming your age and accepting these terms and the privacy policy. Accounts for children under 13 are not permitted, and an account found to belong to a child under 13 is deleted.

If you are between 13 and 17, you may use Retriever only with the permission of a parent, guardian, or the adult responsible for your team, and that adult accepts these terms on your behalf. Only an adult may purchase a subscription.

Provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in credentials, and use only accounts and workspaces you are authorized to access. Workspace owners manage membership and billing. A person purchasing for a school, team, or organization must have authority to do so.

plans, payments, and automatic renewal

Retriever subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Team is $5.99 per month or $49.00 per year. Pro is $8.99 per month or $69.00 per year. The plan, billing interval, total, and any taxes or discounts are shown at checkout before you pay, together with the renewal terms, and you are charged the same amount at the start of each new period until you cancel. A yearly subscription is charged once for the year; it is not a monthly installment plan.

You can cancel at any time. The workspace owner opens Plan and billing in Retriever, which opens the payment provider’s billing portal, and cancels there. No phone call, email, or request to support is required. A cancellation scheduled for the end of the billing period leaves access active until that period ends, and no further charge is made. An immediate cancellation ends subscription access when it takes effect.

Payments are billed and processed by Stripe. Failed or overdue payments can interrupt workspace access. Cancellation does not by itself issue a refund or erase inventory, and a new paid subscription is required after access ends.

Payments are not refundable, except where a refund is required by law. Nothing here removes a right to a refund or other remedy that applicable consumer law gives you and that cannot be waived. To raise a billing question or dispute, write to rishaanjain188@gmail.com.

your content and acceptable use

You retain your rights in content you submit and authorize the service and its providers to process it to operate the features you use. Share only information you have permission to provide. Workspace members can access content according to their permissions.

Do not use Retriever for unlawful activity, unauthorized access, malicious code, harassment, infringement, or interference with the service. Do not upload payment card details, passwords, or other sensitive personal information into inventory fields.

integrations and availability

Third-party services have separate terms and availability. Features described as early access may change or remain unavailable. Inventory records and shipment information should be checked before operational decisions; Retriever is not a safety-critical control system or a guarantee that a part is physically present.

closure and data

Canceling a subscription and deleting an account are separate actions. A workspace becomes eligible for deletion 14 days after paid access ends. Export your inventory before that point if you want to keep it.

You may ask for your account to be deleted by writing to rishaanjain188@gmail.com. Records that law requires to be kept, such as financial records, may be retained after closure. Notice is given before access is suspended, except where an urgent security or legal obligation prevents it.

legal protections and disputes

Nothing in the final terms should exclude rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. Any warranties, limitations of liability, dispute process, governing law, or venue provisions require review for the operator’s jurisdiction and intended users. No arbitration requirement or liability cap is established by this draft.

changes and contact

Material changes are communicated before they take effect where required, with an updated effective date. A change to the price or billing interval of a renewing subscription is notified before it applies, and you may cancel before it takes effect. Support and billing contact: rishaanjain188@gmail.com.
